Will side tattoos stretch after pregnancy?

I want a tattoo on the side of my stomach but also someday hoep to get pregnant, i dont want this to cause stretching that wont go back. will it?

my tattoo artist told me that I shouldn’t get a tattoo done on my stomach for that exact reason. I have seen some people who have had tattoos on their stomachs, and side where it is fine after pregnancy but I have seen some that suck now after they have had a baby.
