Have Barbie torture as a child?
I just read about this study in the latest Allure: http://www.bath.ac.uk/news/articles/research/barbie161205.html "The meaning of 'Barbie' went over a term antipathy, physical violence and torture towards the doll was repeatedly reported, quite cheerfully, across age, school and gender. "" The girls we spoke to see Barbie torture as a legitimate play activity and see it as "cool" Activity as opposed to other forms of play with the doll to torture. "The types of mutilation are varied and creative, and range from the removal of the Hair decapitation, burning, breaking and even the microwave. "That made me laugh, because I am sure it has – Branding with matches, scalping her tattoo them with a pen – and then my little brother finished my five Barbies.

LOL I tortured myself, although I not my nuke (we had no microwave, but if we had, I would have tried it well, LOL). I cut my hair Barbie "shorter and shorter, until you finally scalp could be seen, painted on the "makeup" and "Tattoo" with a pen and marker, put off his head, bent the knee in the wrong direction, etc. LOL
