Why does my professional tattoo gun make me bleed more than run the ink?
Ive had one tattoo gun for about 4 months and now it mainly makes me bleed and leaves the skin red and tender. Runs ok with black ink but not like it should. Most colored inks wont even take.
The only real answer here is to have your mentor watch you tattoo with it. It is generally not the machine that’s the problem, that is, unless you paid like $49 for it off some place that will sell machines to pretty much anyone. You probably have the needle bar on backwards or the needle tip out too far, etc. As I said, work with your mentor – you can’t learn to tattoo safely and competently from the Internet.
