The opinions on an entrepreneur to open a tattoo studio in Britain?
Hello hello! I'm hard as a sailor for most worked in my life, and as I approach 30th have decided to make my passion for art and tattoos. I've been working on my art all my life and specialize in portraits and detailed work. I do not mean to be arrogant, but it deserves a very high standard and industry. I am financially able to establish a small business and have worked to open a business plan to a tattoo parlor. I was wondering what peoples opinions where on a non-tattoo artist Opening a studio? I plan on learning the trade and business management, accounting, retail, ect ect. I understand the level of importance people in the industry on the old school way of rising through the ranks so wanted to see what people thought of my venture into the industry.
I think it's fine as long as you do not try tattoo until you were properly trained. And even then you should better not try to pass yourself off as an experienced artist. It will take many years to get tattoo with the best of them.
