tattoo care instructions lotion

I did my first tattoo for about 24 hours. My tattoo artist did not put any kind of bandage over, and not …?
Give me any kind of tattoo goo or nothing. I'm really freakin out. I am very afraid it is infected, and get, what is contrary to say in my care instructions, each of advice I have follow-up care received. I need to obtain the information I can on the aftercare. I got Vaseline, and then were told not to use. I got Aveeno lotion no scent, and I was told that not to be used. The tattooist instructions say put alcohol on it before I go to bed, but someone said not to do. I am soo confused! HELP please! I do not live anywhere near the place where I had a tattoo. Even if I had to go back, I can not until next weekend. It is a small tattoo on my shoulder blade
Many artists use many different methods, and if it is not broke, dont fix it, right? But the way Ive for over the last few years now, since I moved from a dermatologist at Johns Hopkins University Hospital, Maryland, surface skin damage: Take the end of the night: a hot shower … as warm as you can handle, it opens the pores and leaves out the impurities, immediately after, rinse in cold water for one or two minutes, which seals the pores and keeps impurities from (and ink). Pat it dry with a disposable towel, like a bounty paper towel … then leave it in the air for about ten minutes … then cover with a thin layer of Aquaphor, about the size of a matchbox head for every square centimeter. During the day: Twice a day, wash with skin care, or select the soap, pat dry with a paper towel, let sit for ten minutes in the air, thin Layer of Aquaphor. that the first three days after … that only a thin layer of unscented lotion three times a day, I recommend Eucerin. Well, enjoy, I promise, in the Years of tattoos, nothing better than this if I didn't think so, I would not get from time to hit it! Good luck
