Best Colleges in California …?
Im not a genius nor am I stupid, I think, in terms of average intelligence. I am looking for the school to 4-year that is not too small or too large school in Southern California with a good journalism program, intramural basketball, rock and brass band clubs, newspapers, Longboard Club, Surf Club, Tattoo Club. Even schools that have many extracurricular activities and in the vicinity of Los Angeles or Pasadena, and the beach. Thanks a lot! 
It sounds like Cal State LA, you would fit, it is very close to Pasadena. There is also a Cal State Long Beach and the Channel Islands. UCLA (very large) and USC are very hard to get in now, they are great opportunities, but they sound like maybe be a bit more than you need.
