Who Knows The Best Tattoo Ink Available Online ?
i like many have purchesed tattoo inks online with the promise of being realy good, strong pigment inks, and they have turned out to be terrible. i want to know if anyone can recomend and ink that can be purchesed online, one that holds very strong color ??
First, any real artist will tell you there is not a BEST INK. If there was it would be the only brand we all bought. Truth be told, the ink depends on the artist. What goes in good for one artist the next may hate and have a hard time with.
But I can suggest what I prefer. Not one specific brand but for white – Intenze is most likely the best but it is thick and may take practice when working it, Starbright for my yellows and oranges, Kuro Sumi for my tribal blacks – easily the most extreme of any black ink I have ever used, and National for most of the rest of my inks (national is one of the inks made from powder pigments).
I strongly do not recommend Skin Candy and they do not use that ink at the shop on the Miami Ink show, they advertise skin candy but do not use it. Just like most every other artist a mixture of brands are used depending on colors. Stay away from scream and MOM’s (aka Mellenium). Although I do use the MOM’s blues and greens but mostly stay away from it. Satay way away from all of superier tattoo inks (prizm), they are not long lasting. They go in easy because they are designed for a beginner but the inks fade quickly (although there white is pretty good).
A rule of thumb is this also, if the ink is inexpensive then it is so for a reason, it sucks. The inks I have mentioned are a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. But if you are looking to purchase a set of colors you can not go wrong with StarBright, National, or Intenze.
