What do I use in an ultrasonic cleaner to sterilize tattoo equipment?
I have some solution that we’ve been using but I can’t seem to find it anymore and am not sure what it is called. Any help?
An ultrasonic cleaner does not sterilize tattoo equipment!!!!!! It is only a machine that will thoroughly CLEAN the instruments, NOT sterilize them!!!!! The sterilizing comes into play once the tubes are bagged and placed into an autoclave… please do not tattoo people if you do not know and understand this process! And if you are new to the field, you MUST take a Bloodborne Pathogens & Principles of Infection Control seminar! It protects you as well as your clients!
