How much would this Koi fish tattoo cost?

I want to get a tattoo similar to this one in quality and size. I want to know how much it would cost?
It depends where you get it. If you want the tattoo be as GOOD quality as the one pictured and LAST good amount of time (at least more than a YEAR; all tattoos get blurry and smeared after 40 years at most; often much sooner) – you are looking anywhere from $300 to $700 USD. Again, this varies from place to place. For example, in Toronto i know places that can do it relatively inexpensive (Less than $300), and some that do it (colors, size and quality of the pic you showed) for about $600.
I really hope you will be able to not be concerned with price, but rather quality of the tattoo and the personality of the artist. I mean, he should be enthusiastic and sincere in his work, so its best to get to know him. Many of my homies got their tattoos at the cheapest place possible, and hence the tats were of low quality. I mean, their ink was mostly Letters, and single colored (blue/black) symbols like dice, skull, mostly of small size. But ones that got colored ink (one of the tats was a weaving Flag, about 5×5 inches on his back), for really cheap, got the ink smearing and getting REALLY blurry within a YEAR, ended up paying more than double the original amount (about $270 in addition to the original $100) to a better artist to cover up and outline the tats as much as possible.
Hope you get your ink straight from the first time! Take your time meeting at least two different artists to discuss your idea, and GOOD LUCK!
