Are there any health concerns with having a tattoo over a birthmark?
I have a birthmark that is the size, shape and color of a strawberry. I’d like to get strawberry leaves put on it, maybe outline it, maybe some “seeds” but I want to find out if there are concerns about tattooing on the birthmark.
No…….but opinions vary I am sure. I have a huge cross that I had them tattoo over my vaccination mark I have had since 5. Its been there along time and I have had no problems. I have seen women who have had their breasts removed due to cancer have tattooing done on their chests to hide the scars, also burn scars have been covered up. I have alot of scarring from a seurgery two years ago on my upper left arm, and I have a huge back piece that I want to extend on my upper shoulderi in an attempt to cover up 4 small holey looking scars.
