where would you find a school or somewhere to learn how to do body piercings and tattooing in?
southern california. I prefer to go to a school and not to a parlor and learn when they have the time to teach you. Also what kind of license do you need to work in a shop?
I recently started work as a tattoo artist. The road getting here was easier than you’d think. My neighbor got me into tats about a year ago, and he just let me practice with his stuff when I wanted, on oranges, then eventually on him. About three months later I bought my own machines and started tattin friends and taking pics, I got a certificate online from tatsmart.com and took it, along with my portfolio to a local shop. I worked as an apprentice for five months and now have my own chair. Stick with it, its an awesome skill and great money maker.
