tattoo locations meaning

tattoo location?
I’ve heard that tattoos in different places mean different things, some are tribal, others are religous, or traditional, what can you guys (and girls) tell me about this?
This is simply common sense for most of it.
Some tattoos are placed in different spots, because according to their faith, it must face a certain direction, or be flowing in a certain direction. Such as koi. Some koi tattoos are based on blessing of fertility, therefor the koi must be swimming in a certain direction.
Tattoo really just mean what the person wanted them to be. You can have somone with Virgin Mary tattooed on them, but they aren’t religious, just their name is Mary too.
The oddity and conditions of tattoos is too broad to example each one.
I really don’t think tribal holds much significance anymore, just that it looks “super sweet” (i’m rude, i know) and is the easiest tattoo to think of, find on a wall, or in a sticker tattoo dispenser.
Lots of religious art is just simply that persons commitment to their faith placed on their skin.
Traditional, neo traditional, new school, japanese, traditional japanese and so forth really now, are all just a preference in liking the art.
More than likely if someone is getting a specific thing, it’ll be clearly expressed by that person, because more than likely they’re going to be completely proud of that piece.
Location really depends on how that person wants it to be seen, or is sometimes based on less pain in the area.
My god, I’m ranting!
