Other tattoo artists on Miami Ink?
I was just in South Beach, and of course I had to check the situation of my favorite show Miami Ink! But when I went through and looked in, I saw about 4-5 guys working there, none of them I recognized from being on the show. I know Chris Garver and Kat Von D are only Miami, when they shoot, and they work in other stores too, but never really thought of that would be none of the other guys who / workshop activities not be executed there. Is there a lot of other tattoo artists that are working, the "get the recognition" as it were and not as much recognition as the Guys that are on TV get? Does anyone get a tattoo done there by someone else, as the guys go on the show and know every tattoo artist in person that It does not get as much credit to be there to work?
With the success of the show, I'm sure they do not have to be the only ones there. Moreover, if they were, by the business people just want to see the stars of the show would be overrun … they would never be able to do a job. Ami & Nunez are the owners, so they are probably not there too terribly often. And Yoshi is always other stuff. In the last week episode of American Chopper, were some of them in contact with Miami Ink for new tattoos. They were on the phone with Kat and Garver. Kat was rude as hell to them and I lost a lot of respect for them after that. In the end, Ami & Nunez took care of him and went to New York to do her tattoos. Ami said, literally, the problem is with Kat thinks she knows everything but they do not know sh! T.
