Side / rib cage tattoo .. any preference? "
I told my bf for a long time I wanted to get his old basketball number (14), tattooed somewhere, then thought about it and did not want it so obvious, so people will ask, what does 14 then hear, "Well, that's stupid" "What! go if it does not work? "And so on. I thought about it and came with 14 hearts (different sizes) from my inner hip area & my site. I think it would be more subtle about the meaning behind it, and would still be as sweet, but he hates the idea and thinks side tattoos are ugly. But it is do not go to a large mural or nothing! Please tell me your opinion on the side / rib cage tattoos in general, and also my idea. Thank you! And I've already 3 tattoo's it would not be a first lol
It is a good idea. 
One way to get something without screaming it represented out. Even if it does not work with you both, you can always add more hearts to the meaning. Even if you do not want to go with your heart, might petals to see cherry blossoms, or any other type of falling leaves work really well through this area. The ribs are a tender area that's for sure. I have a piece on my ribs, 5 and a half hour do and in the end I was ready to start taking swings took on the artist. One of the sucky areas be honest with you, but totally worth it. I say go for it! One lives only once! Plus you have the thought of how bad ass will be your piece when it is finished, that you be in a position, it will be difficult for. I have faith in ya.
