Moving to San Francisco. What do I need to know?

Im moving to San Francisco(Richmond District) in August.
Im 22, Just wanted some advice from the locals. What’s the deal?
Where do I meet some nice women? What are the good bars to go to that aren’t Roach Hole In the Walls? Good Tattoo Shop? Good Cheap Food? Nice Strip Clubs that aren’t full of thugs and Strippers with Bullet Wounds? Cafe/Coffee Houses i can find a younger crowd and some loud music?
Im from a less exciting part of Cali that can’t keep up with me.
Much Appreciation and Points to Best Answer.

um well im from SF and…

well like “picador” said, dont call it Frisco…. eh, i dont even like it, and im just one sf local.

A definitely good tattoo shop is BlackHeart Tattoo (on like 18th and castro, somewhere near there, right across from the wonderful Mr. Nice Guy, lol)…

If ur looking for a good bar, u should definitely go to Slims, Im only 14, so i havnt been there, but ive heard from many that its like the coolest bar in sf….

um….well its probably the only place where u will drive down one small block and see an irish pub on the corner, then an itallian pizza place right next door, than a chinese food place on the opposit corner…

um if ur lookin for some good partys with different people (“freaks,” “gays, bis, straight, tran, etc” “party people”) then u should go to a party in the Castro, i hear the people of the Castro can really throw a party….

If ur lookin for a guranteed good concert, buy some tickets for a band u like playing at The Filmore…its a small place, which means bigger party, louder music, more booze, and more mosh pits…

Muddy Waters cafe(or “Muddys”) is a pretty cool cafe and coffee house, im not sure about loud music, but they do have a sick ass wall of nothing but flyers and other sort of advertising papers… and its a good environment in there…

nothings really cheap in SF, but some good food, for less but still more (if that makes any sense) would be like El Faro(me fave), or some other food places around the mission district. it wont be very hard to find a food place here, theres like one on every street… but the mission hasnt been the safest place to hang around lately, so maybe waiting for things to cool down a bit would be good. People have been getting killed in broad day light in the past few weeks which is odd…. Eh idk, dont wear red or blue in any area of san francisco, gang territories have been spreading….

well keep away from the Tenderloin, and that old church on like 23rd (somewhere around there) cuz i heard that theres some weird guy in the church that does rituals or something in there, and theres always pigeons around SF, but i heard that there is only dead ones outside that church….just a warning….

OH and yes like “picador” also said, SF may be beautiful in many ways, but it is also the end for many people. There are people who will look at you but be talking to themselves, or someone in their head (many people like that on the bus). There might even be people in some areas that will come up to you and ask for drugs, or just start talking. But, even if they may freak u out, u have to remember that they are people to, just people u dont really wanna connect with, so just ignor them, act like its normal, cuz it is, well normal for the city…

Wow, i think i wrote enough…

well i hope u like ur stay in San Francisco,

and i hope that all the bad talk about this place doesnt make u turn ur back,

and i hope that my talk has somehow helped u out…
