I used aloe scented soap on a new tattoo for the first 4 days, do you think i damaged it?

i got my new tattoo 4 days ago, i used antibacterial aloe scented soap, i know aloe isn’t good in the healing process, neither is a scented soap, i used vitamin e as ointment, do you think i damaged my tattoo by using that soap, as losing ink or maybe have more chances of it fading?

no, your tattoo will be fine i use scented soap on a couple of mine, just keep it clean is all that matters and make sure it dosent crack (which is your only worry with scented soap since it dries out your skin), just use some lip chap on it (rub on finger and dab on tattoo every couple hours once scab develops until scab is gone)
