Is the tattoo shading technique plausible?
I would like to get some Lily Lily on my back for my daughter. Yes, I know it's a pretty obvious choice, but it's my favorite flower and it works. I am a big fan of black and gray tattoos but would like to incorporate some color into the design. What do I want a real looking "sketch" type of design. Take, for example, I have some crayons and lightly colored flowers and then went to a Standard pencil, so that an image that at first glance, grayscale, but with light hints of color peeking through. I would want it to fade seamlessly. Is this kind of shading in a tattoo be? If so, the technique a name? I'm shopping around for tattoo artist and want a be as specific as possible.
She does most of my fellow tattoos with color and detail is AMAZING, I have 100% confidence in him. I think the best would do for you, your idea of a Tattoo artists that and see if they can do it, and if not, find someone else.
