Need ideas on a wedding band being tattooed?
I am recently married and my husband has a beautiful simple wedding band. He works very hard with his hands and the ring poses danger in his field of work. Also he has only worn his ring for two weeks and it already looks old and is very scratched from working with it on. His idea is to get his ring tattooed on his finger. Niether of us have any tattoos, nor beside this band plan to get any. I just want to see some pictures or ideas of what a tattooed wedding band will look like. He was thinking of it being writing, he thought of writing our last name on his ring finger or the word forever or true love.
If you have seen this done or know where to see pictures of it let me know. I would also love any suggestions.
i’ve known people who have had wedding bands tattooed on. It’s a very good concept, however I don’t think it’s a very good idea. Fingers are the one of the most “moved” parts of your body, and the ink will not stay in if your fingers are moved around alot. The risk of losing the ink and having a “forever” tattoo read fo-v-r may not be a very nice thing to have. I do like the concept of having a tattoo of the wedding band however.
Another thing you should think about is if you 2 were to divorce (which I hope will never happen)… he will have this on him for future relationships.
Another thought may be just getting matching tattoos in a less noticable place that only you and him know where they are.
