Terisa Green's "The Tattoo Encyclopedia: A Guide to Choosing Your Tattoo "(ISBN-13 is: 978-0743223294) a good and inexpensive reference work. It organizes the most common tattoo symbols in alphabetical order Tattoo and features over 800 pictures in her book. I found the paperback version of her book on Amazon for just 12 U.S. dollars.
