what causes tattoo blowout
What causes tattoo blowouts?
Is it because of going too deep? Or because of bad ink? does it depend on the person or the location? Is the tattoo machine supposed to be held at about a 45* angle? My g/f got a tattoo that the lines look ” fuzzed” out on a few parts of it. Almost looks like a bruise around it. Thanks for any input.
I’m a piercer, apprenticing as a tattoo artist and it could be a number of things. For starters, the tattoo artist might not have gone deep enough, meaning some of the ink is too close to the surface and sort of “fanned” out. Another could be that the tattoo artist slipped with gun and didn’t follow the line exactly perfectly, but went back over the original print.
It can easily be corrected, it just takes healing time.
It may even be just extra ink in the creases of her skin.
In a day, have her shower and GENTLY, let me stress GENTLY wipe her tattoo with her hand – never a cloth or sponge while it’s healing!
